Unfortunately it does not suck well enough. The battery motor is just not strong enough to effectively remove the deeper mucus, which is after all, the most important to remove to relieve congestion & prevent ear infection. I would personally recommend the BabyComfyNose aspirator which uses your own suction, therefore it sucks as much as you do. (this is not an insult, just physics).

Battery-operated aspirators in general are ineffective because the tiny battery-powered motors are just not strong enough to remove snot in any meaningful way. We have learned this after buying one battery unit after another and always being disappointed. I recommend the Babycomfynose aspirator - totally effective because you are using your own suction. Totally hygienic.

It is cold season and so when I saw this product I picked it up for my baby. The Cleanoz® is perfect. Not only is the product easy to use, it is quick, and works so much better than the blue bulb that they gave me in the hospital. My baby can breathe so much easier thanks to the Cleanoz®.

I LOVE CLEANOZ ASPIRATOR. I bought this product for my daughter who has had horrible time breathing when she gets sick. This product worked perfectly and was able to alleviate my daughters struggling to breathe. All I did was drop a few drops of Cleanoz saline preservative free in her nose to loosen up the snot, and then I used the Cleanoz. It was great. I had to use it a couple more times that day to help her keep breathing well. And the best part was that at the end of the day, I threw away the nozzle. I didn't have to clean anything! The next day she was still a little congested and so I used a new nozzle piece, and it worked great again. She actually likes it now when I use the Cleanoz. She HATED the bulb syringe and I don't want to use a disgusting mouth suction snot sucker!!!

Works great to get all the gunk out of my 15month old nose
no cross contamination like the bulb

Compared to the traditonal bulb syringe, this thing does not work. I was looking for something that would keep my one year old from shrieking every time I had to suction his nose. He liked the Cleanoz but it didn't suction well and snot was left dripping everywhere.
