Indications

To reduce the duration and severity of the common cold. Reduces the severity of cold symptoms: cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing, post-nasal drip and/or hoarseness. Non-drowsy formula.

Warnings

COLD-EEZE® Cold Remedy Lozenges are formulated to relieve cold symptoms and may be insufficient treatment for Influenza or Allergies. If symptoms worsen, or persist beyond 7 days, consult a physician.
If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Ask a doctor before use if you are taking minocycline, doxycycline, tetracycline or are on coumadin therapy, zinc treatment may inhibit the absorption of these medicines.

Our family has been using these for about 8 years.
They DO reduce the length and severity of ~ 80% of our common colds. Some of the effects may be placebo... but that's alright - they still work. And the taste is mild enough that even our younger ones will suck on them, to help with their colds.

I began using these when I heard cough drops with zinc where better than the rest. They are expensive, but if I feel any hint of a sore throat coming on, I take one and it usually goes away. Plus, this flavor tastes great! Since I get colds so rarely, I can't comment on how well they for them.

I had high hopes for this product when I bought it, but was disappointed. I started using it at the first signs of my cold, and continued using it as directed on the product package. While it may have provided some relief of my cold symptoms, it did not shorten the duration of my cold at all. It still took me a full week to get back to normal.

For maximum effectiveness start taking COLD-EEZE® Cold Remedy Lozenges at the first sign of a cold. Best within 48 hours.
Completely dissolve a COLD-EEZE® Cold Remedy Lozenge in mouth. Do not chew. Repeat every 2 to 4 hours as needed.
Continue until all symptoms have ended (see warnings)
Recommended daily dosage of COLD-EEZE® Cold Remedy Lozenges is 6 lozenges per day for adults. 4 lozenges for ages 12-17.
To avoid minor stomach upset, do not take COLD-EEZE® Cold Remedy Lozenges on an empty stomach.
Avoid citrus fruits or juices and products containing citric acid 1/2 hour before or after taking COLD-EEZE® Cold Remedy Lozenges as they may diminish product effectiveness. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids
