The Soft Bonnet Dryer has all the features of the classic salon hood dryer.
Conair has kept all the good qualities of these "hard-hat" dryers, softened them and made them more convenient: a 4' hose gives you flexibility to move and the easy lock feature makes it a snap to secure the bonnet around your head and to collapse and store the hose.  With its small case, this dryer does not take up any more space than a purse.

Pamper yourself with a hot conditioning treatment for healthy-looking, shiny hair any time you want.  For long-lasting styling results, the Soft Bonnet Dryer can be used with rollers of all sizes to create beautiful curls and waves.  For complete professional drying and precision styling use the concentrator nozzle and the hot air vent brush - create salon-type results in the comfort of your own home.

SoftBonnet dryer does not include rollers.

I really like this product and am glad something like this is on the market. I use the vent brush attachment to dry and style my hair after it is 70-80% dry. When I do that, the end result is very smooth, soft, undamaged hair. This does not produce enough heat or a strong enough flow to dry hair if you start with sopping wet hair though. You must either dry your hair with a regular hair dryer first or let your hair air dry for awhile (which is what I do). That might seem like a pain, but the smooth, shiny results are worth it for me. Plus I hate trying to wield BOTH a hairdryer and a hairbrush when trying to style... when using the vent brush attachment, all I have to do is run the brush over my hair. It is super light and rather quiet too. I also like using the bonnet attachment for when I do deep conditioning treatments or when I glaze my hair with a semi-permanent haircolor. Salon results without the salon! This is a good device - you just have to make sure your expectations are in line with what the product can actually do. Don't expect to be able to use this to fully dry sopping wet hair. But expect this to do a stellar job of styling damp hair (with the brush attachment), plus it works great for doing hair treatments that require bonnet type heat.

I tried to stretch the bonnet to fit over my rollers and could not. I'd have to remove several rollers to have the bonnet fit, but then I couldn't style my hair the right way. And the hose would become detached and very hard to reattach while the bonnet was on my head. I only used the hair dryer twice, it was too much trouble. I called the 800 number but they said there wasn't a larger bonnet that I could purchase, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there wasn't one. I gave up!

If the bonnet could stretch out at least 4 or 5
inches wider it would be a perfect hair dryer.
I called the manufacturer and the customer service
personnel were of no help what so ever!
I ended up selling it for half of the price I
              purchased.
With the hair rollers bigger in size, the hair dryer
bonnet needs to be able to stretch out a lot more.

I put the hood on while I am eating breakfast to get a head start on drying my thick hair. You can use it with curlers or without. I put a towel on my shoulders and neck as the hood and hose get a little hot. All in all I like it.

The Bonnet is too small, does not expand to accommodate large rollers. I called the Manufacturer's customer service and the young lady was not helpful and when I asked for a supervisor I was told that 'there wasn't one'!!
If the bonnet could expand just 2 more inches it would be perfect.

I purchase the Conair Dryer to use for Deep Conditioning Treatments to do weekly. For the price of it you can do your on salon deep condition treatments ( it pays for its self with first treatment) It works wonderful for that on me. I air dry my curls, I would not recommend to dry natural curls this way (Heat produces Frizz). My only disaapoinment with it the hose is to short thats the reason for 4 stars not 5

I get very annoyed every time I use it because the hose continually disconects from the bonnet. I'm really thinking about returning it, that's how much it annoys me. It's also loud but I like the speed it dries my thin hair.

How to Set Up and Pack Away your Collapsible Soft Bonnet Dryer with the easy "Pull, Lock, & Release" Drawstring System:

                  1. Press the release button on the hose to loosen the locking mechanism.
                  2. Attach the bonnet to the hose and place over rollers.  Follow the user manual for drying instructions.
                  3. After use, pull the drawstring and lock it.  It's that simple: no effort to push together a springy hose to compact it for storage.
                  4. Store hose and bonnet in the elegant purse-shaped case - stands up to save space.
