I like having these on hand. They keep my blood sugar stable, which surprised me, because they taste sweet. But they do not cause a spike in blood sugar for me.

I like to slowly eat this bar with a glass of water at about 4pm, when I'm feeling ravenous. It satisfies my hunger and keeps me from grabbing unhealthy snacks before dinner. Not my favorite bar (I prefer the Luna white chocolate macadamia bar), but it's not bad.

I always keep an extend bar in my purse in case I get hungry when I'm out - it's healthy snack. Peanut butter is my favorite flavor, but the other flavors are good too.

I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL OF THE EXTEND BARS. THE FLAVOR IS NOT THE VERY BEST EVER, BUT THEY MAKE UP FOR ANY LACK BY LOW SUGAR, GOOD PROTEIN, LOW CALORIE AND LOW FAT AND THEY DEFINITELY HELP WITH CONTROLLING LOW BLOOD SUGAR. OBVIOUSLY A FULL SUGAR, FULL FAT CANDY BAR WILL TASTE BETTER - BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO CHOOSE!
