i didn't know there were products made specially for gray hair, so I was very happy to find this shampoo and coordinating conditioner . Product works really well. Made my hair very clean and shiny. Lots of lather and you don't need to use too much so I'm sure it will last a long time.

OK, this may not be the review people are looking for but I have been using this on our gray pony's VERY, VERY dirty formerly white/gray tail, which has become a dingy heavily stained brown/yellow mess over the winter. It is doing a pretty impressive job of brightening it up with regular use. So if this can markedly improve her extremely stained tail (I won't go into the sources of the stain, use your imagination), I would imagine it works very well on the average human's head of hair. Also I am very intolerant of perfumey smells, and I like the smell of this a lot.

I have used for maybe 20 years. I am blessed with a head of rather lush hair at age 68. It's more gray than not, but not silver. I credit this product with its health and appearance.

I use this product in place of regular shampoo
twice a week as it does have a blue additive.
I am happy with the shine and body my hair has.
I also use the leave in conditioner once a week.

Jhimack products are great. If I leave the shampoo on for even as little as 3 minutes, it covers those brassy tones wonderfully.
