I have large venous ulcers on my legs and when I take the unna boot off once a week I put these on overnight before I go to the doctor the next day. I used to use regular gauze pads which would stick and be almost impossible to remove without a lot of pain. These come right off and my ulcers are healing at a much faster rate because of that. I love them.

I have big ulcers on both legs. I get a unna boot wrap once a week and when I take it off the night before I go to the doctor, I have to put gauze pads on it till the next morning. They ALWAYS stick and are hard to remove, causing some bleeding. These new pads are expensive, but boy, do they work!!!!!You just peel them and off them come, no problem. I lay them out on an open gauze pad and just pick it up and lay it over my ulcers. I wish I had known about these before. I'm going to claim the expense on my income taxes as medical. It is a blessing. I just wish they were larger.

I have HUGE blisters on my legs from auto-imuune illness, and these sooth, keep the dressing from sticking when pulling off, and allow drainage and also medicine to get in. I use 3x3 size and the 5" x 9" size. These are the first layer, then gauze pads and roll gauze. Work so well!

The J&J products that I have ordered are excellent. I have a vascular wound that is quite painful and their products do not irritate that sensitive area. My one complaint is the price of their gauze bandages. It's very high for the amount on the roll.

I've been using these sheets (over a layer of antibacterial ointment) to cover a second-degree burn as it heals, and I can feel the difference each time I change the bandage. At first I was only using antibacterial ointment, but the wound would be dry by the time I changed the bandage. With these petroleum-infused sheets, the wound is protected from friction irritation (though I use non-stick sheet bandages, some people mistakenly use cotton gauze over burns -- this will irritate and slow healing!).

They also keep the wound moist, which is good, as a dry wound will slow healing too. They're sterile and if you are careful using only your fingernails to lift and apply them, they aren't messy.

I looked around in the medical literature, and one of the widely-accepted strategies for burn bandaging is antibacterial salve beneath a petrolatum-infused gauze. So, this product on top of Neosporin or similar treatments is perfect for patches of non-serious burns.
