I don't have a weight problem, but like most women, I have stretch marks around my waist and thighs. So I was excited to finally try this product when I found it in my pharmacy. I had tried so many other products but none had worked and were just too messy. With this product, I was glad to see it smelled great and it was not messy at all. Sometimes I think I hadn't applied it three times a day like the instructions say, but I do recall being strict with the routine for a long while. After using it for an entire three months because I didn't want to waste my [$] that I had spent on it, it still hadn't improved the look of my stretch marks. They were still dark and very noticeable. They were definitely smoother, though. If you were to rub your hands on them, you couldn't tell they were there, until you look at them, of course.Great, but didn't work for me.

I was skeptical at first and I thought there would never be a product to take away my stretch marks. This product delivers, along with the Mederma name. Keep in mind that it does take a long time (minimum of 10 weeks before you can even begin to see results). But just keep using it and you will notice the stretch marks will begin to fade. It may work a little faster on newer stretch marks versus older ones. There is a manufacturers coupon for $4 off that is always included in the box, so over time that may help with the cost.

I have used for about 8 wks starting a couple months after delivery/pregnancy. The stretch marks are less noticeable by both color and smoothing of the texture. It is expensive, but I'm buying another bottle in hopes to continue the progress. It is better than regular mederma as it only requires twice daily application - and sometimes I have forgotten to apply it, but it still seems to be working.

This product is awesome, it already started making my stretch marks go away after 2 weeks. It's a little pricey but in my opinion it is well worth it to get my self confidence and pre baby body back.

I used this after i had my first child. I never saw any results and I used it the recommended time. Nothing changed..didn't work for me at all. I'm sad about it because it was so expensive. Save your money and get bio oil instead.

been using this product for a month n it works my strech mark where big and dark all over my tummy n theighs cause i was so skinny when i got prego. now after using this creme they are alot lighter you cant even notice them unless you are right on top of me. this product is great!!!

This stuff is fantastic. I have stretch marks on my stomach, hips and thighs from weight gain. I have since lost all the weight and kept it off, but I was really unhappy with my stretch marks. I haven't been using Mederma for very long, and the stretch marks have faded remarkably. The texture has also greatly improved, I can barely feel them at all. I'd say my stretchmarks were probably about two years old when I began using Mederma. Don't expect the impossible, your stretch marks aren't going to disappear. But I would highly recommend using this stuff. And use it as directed, don't use it once a week and then complain that it isn't working. Oh, and about the smell. I think that the people saying that there is no unpleasant smell are referring to Mederma for Scars, not Mederma for Stretchmarks (I originally made the same mistake, and I've used both products). Mederma for Stretchmarks has a VERY intense cheap soap smell. I mean three hours after you put it on people around you will still be smelling soap, even through your clothes. But not nearly enough of a con for me to regret the diminishment of my stretchmarks. : )I noticed one of the main ingredients was from onions, which I thought was strange, so I did some searching and found this study:[@], and for anyone wondering, I have very light skin. I've heard that matters, so.. there it is.

I never got the chance to find out if this product actually helps your stretch marks...it smells so bad that the two times I used it I got a headache and nausea.
