I didn't buy from this website, but it's the same product I did buy. I'm not sure how it tastes since I boil water, add tea, honey, cinnamon and the passion flower extract, so all I taste is honey/cinnamon. The first night I took it, I did have a few moments of hard breathing, but it went away quickly (this was listed as a side effect when I researced this product-though only on some people). I haven't had any anxiety, it helped me sleep, and no side effects.

In my experience, it puts you to sleep quickly with little side effects. I use it only when necessary, not everyday. I only give 4 stars because I have not used it for a long time so I am not sure if it is excellent.

Used another reputable brand of passion flower tincture (extract w/alcohol) that seemed weak and wore off quickly, but this alcohol-free formula keeps me in a contented slumber all night. Relaxes my mind and if I do wake earlier than intended I can drift back to sleep easily. I don't feel groggy in morning, rather like I've slept hard. Pleasant sweet grassy-molasses taste. Have used melatonin (nightmares), trazodone (constipation)& Calms Forte (short-acting) and this works best for me with no side effects.

I have severe anxiety when flying. Since two of my grandchildren are overseas, I have to fly and it is usually with white knuckles and muscle pain for several days after due to the stress. On my last trip, my PC physician who is holistic, suggested I place a few drops of Passion Flower on my tongue about an hour before boarding. I WAS AMAZED because I really didn't think it would work. . . by the time I sat in my seat, I noticed I didn't have my usual light-headedness. During take-off (my worst time, with landing a close second), I didn't notice every little bump, tilt and engine noise. When the cabin master asked if I'd like anything, I didn't reply "no thank you" through gritted teeth. I actually enjoyed a wonderful meal; fell asleep when the cabin lights were lowered and didn't wake until I smelled the breakfast coffee brewing then experienced a smooth landing! The bonus? I did not experience the severe jet lag I usally have after a 6 1/2 hour flight. Since then, I've used it twice with the same result.
