I lightly applied this product to my 4b/4c hair to create finger coils with great results. The consistency of it is a little different from gels that are not made with all natural ingredients. It feels a little sticky but not gluey when you first apply it and dries with a nice soft hold and great natural looking shine. The product does a good job in locking in moisture. More out of habit than necessity, I spritz my hair daily with water for added moisture and it did not create any frizz. A gentleman stopped me the other day to ask about the product that I used for my coils stating that he wore coils but the gel used left white flakes. My style lasted a little over a week with no flakes in sight. I recommended this product to him.

Oh and it smells soooo good, a real balanced (not overwhelming) fruity scent.
