This is the best tampon I've found for light periods like mine (thank heavens for pills to control endometriosis) that are mostly not fluid I don't experience leakage because I don't really menstruate to saturation, so can't speak to that.

I switch off between these tampons when less light to light, and panty liners when it's very light. I prefer tampons to any kind of liner or pad; they're just cleaner and more comfortable. Still, the insert instructions have made me nervous enough about TSS that if it's very light, I don't use a tampon.

These TAMPAX Slenders are perfect because you're not supposed to use more absorbency than what you need (they're the least in the cardboard), they have the biodegradable cardboard applicator, they expand in a straight manner (not the uncomfortable cone-shape like other brands), and they're small and comfortable - you don't even know you have it.

I think they've been discontinued by TAMPAX, however, as first they disappeared from the stores, and now they're out of stock at Drugstore.com. Fortunately, Drugstore.com carries boxes of the plastic applicator Lights as an alternative for when I run out of these. I haven't yet seen an entire box of Lights at my local grocery or drug-store; they only come in the multi-size variety pack and I have no need or interest in dangerous larger sizes and absorbencies that I don't need.

I wish that Tampax would keep these slender regulars with the cardboard applicator around -- or make the Lights with a cardboard applicator. Those of us who like these, really like them. I have no complaints about them whatsoever.

I've been using Tampax Slendor's for years! Even if plastic applicators are more comfortable to use, I'm loyal to cardboard applicators because it's biodegradable. I'm happy that drugstore.com carries Tampax Slendors because I find that my local drugstores don't usually stock this slimmer size.

I am not a teenager, I am just not someone who needs larger sizes in tampons, the largest I have ever used is regular. Slender regular is my basic tampon size. If fun looking packaging makes you happy, use it! This does what it's made for. No unnecessary or potentially irritating scents. I used to use plastic applicators, they can be easier to use but I've always liked the idea of biodegradable products, now I just wouldn't buy plastic unless I couldn't find anything else. Please keep this size around!!!

Glad Drugstore.com is carrying these are hard to find. Would be easier to find on the site if "slendor" were spelled "slender," like on the box. ;)

I used these as a teen and thought leakage must be normal. I hated Regulars because of the size, so these were much more comfortable. I stopped being able to find them so when I saw them here I figured I would give it a go again! But, now that I have experienced much, much better tampons -- from the same brand, even -- I have seen the light. These tampons just aren't absorbant. And that's coming from someone who has unusually light periods! But if you don't mind changing super often, and you want cardboard, then it might be fine.

I'm glad drugstore.com carries Tampax Slendor Regulars because I can't seem to find it in my local stores anymore. I like to use cardboard applicators because I don't think disposable items should be made with plastic. Slendor's fit my body type. When I couldn't find them recently, I used the store brand regular cardboard applicator and I definitely could feel it. It's not so good for those odd cycles with really heavy flows but great all other times. Don't confuse Slendors with Tampax Lites which don't absorb as much.

I prefer biodegradable products, and almost always have light flow days. The applicator can tend to "unravel" on these, but they are easy to use and provide more than adequate absorbancy for me.

How do we know that they're not adding hormones to these tampons? I never bled so much. My body felt strange and as soon as I finished my period, I started again a week later. (this happened twice) Then I realized that it was the tampons causing the problems. I don't think it's the shorter design. I think they're adding something to them that's causing more bleeding. I switched to a generic brand and my body felt normal again. I'll never use tampax tampons again. I've been warning my friends.
